Thunderstik Lodge has been creating pheasant hunting traditions for over twenty years. In addition, the Missouri River provides excellent walleye fishing opportunities and some limited waterfowl hunting. Waterfowl hunting licenses are based on a draw system and must be applied for in early June, each year. Or you can test your bragging rights on our ten station sporting clays course overlooking the Missouri River.

South Dakota Pheasant Hunting Season Dates:
Thunderstik Lodge's pheasant hunting season begins in mid-September and runs through early December.
Custom pheasant hunts are available from mid-December through March. All hunting dates are available on a first come, first serve basis. So book your hunting trip early.

Additional Information
A $1,450 deposit per hunter is required to reserve a space for each hunter. All deposits are non-refundable and cannot be applied towards final payment when your hunting group size is reduced.

Goose, duck, fishing and custom hunts are not included in pheasant hunting package price.
