South Dakota pheasant hunting: it's sweeping prairie vistas, dramatic bluffs and the broad blue back of the majestic Missouri River. All rolled into one unforgettable experience. At Thunderstik Lodge, you'll discover great pheasant hunting deep in the true heart of America. 

Thunderstik Lodge has been creating pheasant hunting traditions for over twenty years. In addition, the Missouri River provides excellent walleye fishing opportunities and some limited waterfowl hunting. Waterfowl hunting licenses are based on a draw system and must be applied for in early June, each year. Or you can test your bragging rights on our ten station sporting clays course overlooking the Missouri River.

2011 Pheasant Hunting Package Price

• $3,395 per person - groups of 4 or more - early and late season discounts are available;
  Groups of 3 or less, add $200.00 per hunter 

South Dakota Pheasant Hunting Season Dates:

Thunderstik Lodge's pheasant hunting season begins in mid-September and runs through early December.

Custom pheasant hunts are available from mid-December through March. All hunting dates are available on a first come, first serve basis. So book your hunting trip early.

SD Pheasant Hunting Package includes:

• Three full days of professionally guided hunting
• Four nights deluxe accomodations in private suites
• 5 pheasants per day
• Cleaning and packaging of all game plus travel coolers
• Ammunition
• Sporting Clays course
• Non-resident hunting licenses
• Blaze orange caps
• Gourmet meals
• Complimentary top-shelf beverages and hors d'oeuvres
• Round-trip ground transportation from Sioux Falls, SD or local charter airports
• On-site transportation
• Daily maid service

Additional Information
A $1,450 deposit per hunter is required to reserve a space for each hunter. All deposits are non-refundable and cannot be applied towards final payment when your hunting group size is reduced.

Not included
Gratuities, 5% South Dakota sales tax, or the games clays.
Goose, duck, fishing and custom hunts are not included in pheasant hunting package price.
