Travel Information
Pintail Lodge trips begin and end in Harlingen, Texas. Air service from all major
U.S. cities to Harlingen is available on Continental, Delta and Northwest airlines.
Guests are then provided transportation into Mexico by Pintail staff members,
who are experienced in providing quick, effortless border crossing. Private charters
can fly into Harlingen or into Mexico, minutes from the lodge.
Food
A key to our success is the excellent gourmet food that we are able to provide.
All pastries and pies are made on site. Fresh produce is brought over from the
states. Perennial favorites include goose medallions and duck kabobs. No one
ever walks away from the Pintail table hungry.
Weather
Guests can expect mild winter weather with average daytime temps in the 60s and
evening lows in the 40s and 50s. Chances of rainfall increase later in the hunting
season. We encourage guests to come prepared for any type of weather, and to
check the local weather prior to their departure.
