Alaska Fly Fishing

Our Alaska Fly Fishing Lodge is located in the Iliamna region of Alaska our remote Alaska lodge is home to largest trophy rainbows in North America. These remarkable fish, know as "leopard bows" are aggressive predators. Alaska is a wild a beautiful place but there are many fishing lodges scattered throughout the landscape. These lodges do not compare to the intimate, personal, and quality experience found at our Alaskan fishing Lodge. We offer a premiere team of guides, customer-oriented staff, and access to a huge selection of remote fishing waters. This is the perfect base of operations for single anglers, couples, or small groups, with a group of 6-8 having the ability to book the lodge exclusively.

The Alaska Fishing

Most of the fishing in this remote area is found in our "home waters" - the Upper and Lower sections of the Copper River, and the Gibraltar River.  This enables you to spend your valuable vacation time with your lines in the water.  With the use of the lodge's Cessna 206 float plane, you can also access rivers that include the New Halen, Talarik, Kvichak, Nushagak, Mulchatna, Moraine, Funnel, Battle, American, Kamishak, Amakadori, and the "Cone."

Late spring and fall are the "Trophy Seasons" for trout and guests come from around the globe in search of  trophy native rainbows in this unspoiled setting. During the summer and throughout the fall, the salmon provide a tremendous food source for these trophy fish, and the fishing is outstanding.

During our trophy trout fishing seasons (Spring and Fall), guests come from around the globe to fish for monster rainbows that exceed 17 pounds. Keep in mind that these are native rainbows in an unspoiled setting, just like nature intended. During late Summer and through the Fall fisheries, the salmon provide a tremendous food source for the trophy Rainbows, Arctic Char, Lake Trout, Arctic Grayling and Dolly Varden.

This lodge has all the personal touches you would find at the family cabin on the lake.  Small but spacious, our lodge is nothing like the large comercial lodges you find throughout Alaska.  The staff will focus on you and your every need from the moment you arrive until the moment you depart.

The lodge features spacious bedrooms with carpeting and private baths.

You will find all the amenities you'd expect in a fine hotel - electricity, heat, hot water and daily maid service.

While staying with us you will enjoy world class cuisine in our beautiful dining room. You may forget that you are in one of the most remote areas in North America as our professional chef prepares every meal to perfection.  Lunch consists of a hearty hot lunch on the river prepared by your guides. Each evening you will also enjoy hot hors d'oeuvres and cocktails, with a magnificent view of the sun setting over Lake Illiamna. Take some time to relax in the comfort of our glass enclosed lounge as you watch a majestic brown bear comb the shoreline.
